An Open Challenge is a unique way of organising one event to benefit numerous charities. Each participant has the choice to choose the charity they want to support.

There is no cost involved for the charities. Once a participant has signed up for the challenge and nominated the charity of their choice, ACARA will notify the charity and keep them updated on the progress of the participant.

A Bespoke Charity Challenge is where a group of people raise money and undertake a challenge for one specific charity

Who is ACARA?
Established in 2007, ACARA, the only project management company for charities in Ireland, helps organisations to reach their fundraising target by providing quality charity projects, both at home and abroad.

Many charities do not have the resources or the time to organise fundraising events, this is where ACARA can assist.

ACARA not only arrange bespoke charity events and overseas challenges for specific charities, they also organise Open Challenge Events, whereby the participant is allowed fundraise for any approved charity of their choice.

This allows charities both big and small concentrate on their core business and with the help of ACARA achieve their fundraising goals.

Open Challenges can also compliment challenge events that many charities organise themselves, as it gives them the opportunity to offer their supporters more choice.
